Barley straw is mainly used as structure containing feed for dairy and cattle. Wheat straw has a higher nutritional value than wheat straw, it however absorbs moisture harder. We deliver barley straw from the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark.

Wheat straw is suitable for many purposes. First of all, it is a good bedding in the stable for horses, cattle and poultry. A dry soil is very important for horses. Straw has a number of good properties such as: absorbing, giving a lot of volume, retaining warmth. Besides, it creates extra structure in the feed. Straw, however, also has a couple of disadvantages. A dust-free stable is extremely important for horses. Straw, however, contains more dust than other litter.
