Gerritse is a well-known concept in the “forage industry”. Gerritse was founded in 1943. From that moment much hay & straw was made in Zeeland. At that time small bales were transported to a small storage location, in order to be able to sell lots in winter as well. My father took over the company of his dad. From 1992 I have been employed in the company Gerritse Fourage B.V. A couple of years later I continued operating the company under the name "Gerritse Fourage & Transport". We expanded the fleet in order to be able to carry out various kinds of transport for third parties throughout Europe.

Besides transport the company was expanded with purchase and sales of forage products, caused by the demand for a competitive price. By combining transport and forage the product can be delivered to the customer as advantageous as possible. In the meantime the company has grown into a full forage company with a large storage capacity for hay, straw and various other litter. We have 4 trailer trucks, two of them with walking floor trailer and two of them with open trailer and integrated shovel. In this way we are able to use the right equipment and deliver the products in the right place.
